Edmonton freelance writer Wanda Vivequin has just collected some 10 000 baseball caps donated by caring Canadians. We follow her from Canada to the remote Humla district in Northwest Nepal on her quest to distribute them to some of the poorest people on this planet in the hope of helping prevent cataracts.
Caps against Cataracts has many layers that will form the basis of this fascinating and feel-good documentary:
The adventure of travelling to one of the most remote locations in the Himalayas.
Following Wanda as she deals with the 1001 trials and tribulations of such as an expedition.
The juxtaposition of incredible mountain landscapes and beautiful Nepali people with their extreme poverty and harsh living conditions.
Insights into an undiscovered culture and way of life.
