Every winter some 2000 skiers meet in Quebec to take part in the Canadian Ski Marathon known as the longest and toughest cross country ski marathon in the world. The course runs 160 km over two days, the equivalent of 4 back-to-back marathons. This documentary is an insight into all the aspects of this fantastic race. Toby managed to film while he was racing, as well as filming all those involved in the race.
From kids skiing short sections to Canadian Olympians competing for their 10th time, from volunteers serving hot drinks the skiers sleeping out in –26 C.
“This is the first video that I have seen the captures the true spirit and camaraderie of this amazing race.” Greg Kogell (President of the Canadian Ski Marathon)
